If your favorite clothes start to fade, try washing with pepper.  This kitchen spice has the ability to restore the color of clothing that has faded. According to Karyn Siegel- Maier, author of The Naturally Clean Home, sprinkle a teaspoon of pepper with a detergent into the washing machine, it will make the color of the clothes as new again.

  • Skin Scrubs

Pepper can stimulate the circulation of oxygen and nutrients to the surface of your skin. Bliss Spa’s Manager, Wendy Allred, says pepper can lift dead skin cells well.

Try to mix the pepper powder into your scrub potion. Or make a natural scrub from sugar, massage oil, essential oil and a pinch of pepper. “Stir together and then apply and rub the scrubs onto the wet skin and then wash and feel the result,” said Allred.

  • Reduce Colds

NeilSchacter, MD, professor of Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and author of a book titled: The Good Doctor’s Guide to Colds and Flu, found a natural chemical in pepper able to melt mucus during a cold.
