A new research reveals that tequila liquor is good for bone. Provided that consumed at certain levels, not excessive.
According to Science Daily, a Mexican researcher found that texas holdem poker plants commonly used to make tequila contain compounds that can increase the absorption of calcium and magnesium.
Both minerals are known to be very important in maintaining bone health. In a study conducted by the texas poker Center for Research And Advanced Studies in Mexico, experimental mice injected fructans from blue agave produced nearly 50 percent more osteocalcin, a protein that indicates new bone production, than non-injected mice.
What’s more, the rat bone diameter was higher after eight weeks of fructans injection. The effect, according to The Independent, depends on the interaction between the fructans and bacteria in the intestine that make sugar molecules can capture nutrients and help bring them to the bone cells.
“Consuming game poker fructans contained in agave, working with a sufficient intestinal microbiota, will result in new bone formation, despite the presence of osteoporosis,” Lopez explained.
Thus, the result of this study provides the possibility of building a new handling for osteoporosis, a disease that is said to attack 200 millions people in the world.
